 Dear Members and Supporters of the Heather Curling Club,

For generations, Heather Curling Club has been more than a building with ice—it’s been a place where friendships are formed, memories are made, and our love for curling grows. Whether you’re a league player, a junior participant, or a supporter cheering from the seats, you know how special our club is to the community.

Today, we need your help with a critical project: replacing our worn steel roof. This is urgent—recently, moisture damage in the ceiling has worsened, and repairs cannot wait. If we don’t act in the spring, we risk costly structural damage and jeopardize our facility.

We’ve secured a quote for $45,000 from a trusted local contractor to replace the roof, and with a 10% contingency we are looking to raise $49,500. This investment will help to protect our ice, equipment, and building for years to come—and ensure curling remains vibrant in our community. While we have other projects to continue to improve the building, this is of immediate importance.

While we are actively seeking additional funding options, we recognize the need to for immediate action and want to present to you some options for helping us get this money raised as quickly as possible.

Welcome to the Heather Curling Club!  We are proud to be known as the Curling Capital of Minnesota. 

With four sheets of dedicated curling ice, we operate from December 1st through March 31 and run leagues starting January 1st.  We offer learn-to-curl opportunities before leagues begin and throughout the season.  We welcome new curlers and offer discounted league dues to help you get started!  Please take some time to look around and if you have any questions, contact a board member for more information.  League registration will open in early December for the upcoming season.  Come back here often for more information.
